Every detail has been considered to create a collection that feels effortless to use and naturally suited to a wide variety of settings.

Simple, but not Simplistic.

Every element of Kaya has been refined to balance performance, comfort and visual clarity. The collection is built around a series of plywood shells, chosen for both their structural efficiency and circular potential. By prioritising renewable and recyclable materials while reducing reliance on non-circular resources, Kaya’s design reduces embodied carbon without compromising comfort or performance. 

Kaya’s quilted upholstery uses blown polyester, eliminating the need for adhesives and making the collection over 99% recyclable at the end of life. This method both a technical solution and a defining visual detail resulting in the stitched finish on the seats back, adding softness, tactility and character through the honesty of its making. 

Designed with longevity in mind from the outset, Kaya features removable upholstery covers. Replaceable on site without the need for specialist tools, extending the product lifespan whilst reducing waste and simplifying maintenance. A reflection of Pearson Lloyd's approach to design, where every decision considers not only how a product performs, but also the impact it has on people and the world around us. 

Built to Evolve.

Kaya is more than a single seating solution. Designed as a flexible seating platform, its modular design principles allow the collection to evolve over time, extending its application across a range of workplace settings while maintaining a consistent design language.

The collection is currently available in standard and Pro seat widths, with low and mid back options and a varition of bases, from a stackable four leg frame to a five star swivel base.
